Law of Attraction:
It’s All About Vibration
The term energy and its relationship to all facets of life and lifeforce has become a household word. Energy is diverse and energy is perpetual—it cannot be created; it cannot be destroyed. It can only be manifested. For energy to manifest into form or to become a useful system, it must have movement. Franklin Sills in his book, The Polarity Process, says that energy can mean specific types of energy such as electrical energy, x-rays, atomic energy, sun energy. It can also refer to the movements of subtle pulsations. Sills continues by saying that it is with these subtle pulses (vibrations) that many Eastern traditions approach their healthcare and their healing work.
All energy follows the basic laws of movement.
“It’s All About Vibration”
Movement in essence is all about vibration, according to one of the oldest laws on record, The Law of Vibration. This law states that nothing rests, everything moves, and everything vibrates. This old Hermetic Principle was enunciated thousands of years ago by the masters of ancient Egypt.1
The law of vibration explains that the differences between different manifestations of matter, energy and even spirit, result largely from varying rates of vibration. From the All (or Source) that is thought of as pure spirit, down to the grossest (solid) form of matter, all is in vibration — the higher the vibration, the higher the position in the scale.2 Over 10,000 years later a scientist named Albert Einstein “discovered” this equivalence of energy and matter and stated it with his famous formula, E=mc2. Matter is energy and energy is matter.
From electron, atom and molecule, to worlds and universes, everything is in vibratory motion and also on the mental planes whose states depend upon vibrations. 3
One interesting variable about the concept of vibration is that like vibrations will attract. According to Dr. Masaru Emoto, author of the New York Times best-seller, The Hidden Messages of Water, all existing things have vibrations. This energy is often positive or negative and it is easily transmitted to other existing things. Dr. Emoto’s many studies show that through his various experiments that water can actually respond to information. Water attracts and absorbs various vibrations that will then be displayed as formed or deformed crystals when the water is frozen.4
Emoto continues to explain how like vibration attracts by showing that tuning forks will resonate. He works with three tuning forks. Forks 1 and 2 have a frequency of 440Hz and Fork 3 has a frequency of 442Hz. Forks 1 and 2 are designed to vibrate 440 times per second, while Fork 3 vibrates 442 times per second. If you hit Fork 1 with a rubber hammer, Fork 2, having the same frequency, will immediately vibrate and give off a sound. However, Fork 3 will not. Therefore, when two things have the same vibrations they resonate with each other.5
It can also be concluded that as humans we can create different vibrations mentally, physically, and emotionally and other things or events or people who have similar vibrations will resonate with the signals we are sending out. Attraction!
Pure and Simple — Vibrations Create Your Reality
One can quickly see why and how we attract into our field whatever we are giving energy to on a consistent level.
Whatever You Give Energy To Flourishes
Due to electro-magnetic force, vibrations move when they have two poles: a positive pole that projects energy and a negative pole that will attract energy. The Law of Attraction is really the Law of Polarity. The Law of Polarity states that everything is dual, everything has opposite poles, and for movement to occur there must be a positive, neutral, and negative pole. The Law of Attraction and Repulsion or the Law of Projection and Reflection (Polarity) truly is how we manifest energy. According to the Law of Vibration you will attract what you vibrate and you vibrate what you intend and/or desire.
So it is wise to say: be careful what you ask for because you will receive it!
Application of the Law of Attraction
- How one feels actually creates the vibration.
- The Universe will correspond to the vibration created by these feelings.
- Everyone is the co-creator of his/her own life.
The Secret, a new feature-length film from Prime Time Productions (available on DVD at www.thesecret.tv) quickly motivates us to understand the Law of Attraction by becoming aware of the following realities:
- One attracts what one thinks and feels
- One gets what one asks for
- Words are important—they have energy!
- Passion creates energy and a lot of passion attracts even more energy
- One personally draws everything to oneself
- Affirmative thoughts attract 100 times more than negative thoughts—choose your thoughts carefully6
The fact that we can manifest what we give energy to, what we consistently think about, and what we truly feel in our body and in our emotions is our reality. This concept that we attract into our lives what we desire and what we feel is not a new revelation.
Scientists have known and proven this theory over and over again. We bring into our field (a region of influence) whatever we vibrate.
Modern science shows that we are all made up of molecules and atoms and that these molecules and atoms have their own communication system and their own unique set of frequencies. Lynn McTaggart in her book, The Field, says that each molecule has its own frequency and its receptors that tune into this frequency, much like your radio tunes into a particular station. This can occur, she says, even over vast distances and that the vibration of one body will be reinforced by the vibration of another body at or near its frequency.7
Research again has shown over and over that molecules and intermolecular bonds emit specific frequencies that can be detected billions of light-years away by the most sensitive of modern telescopes.8
We Attract What We Think—We Attract What We Feel
The Law of Attraction is Always Working
Your life as you believe it to be is a physical manifestation of all your thoughts. The
more energy or focus you give to something, negative or positive, the more of that will be attracted into your life.
The moral of the story is simple: what we dwell on is manifested, what we give energy to flourishes, and we can always change what we attract into our lives. We create our own reality.
The Law of Attraction has many specific steps that should be considered when deciding how to attract what we really want into our lives — good health, prosperity, and abundance are a few ideas.
A summary on how to do it:
- First and foremost: ask clearly for what you want. Be very clear—no “ifs, ands or buts!”
- Trust the process. Be still. Believe it will happen.
- Feel deeply that you can receive what you need and want.
- Have an ‘attitude of gratitude’ and focus on what you already have that is positive
- Focus on good health, abundance and prosperity
- Remember: change is always there—how one reacts to change is how it is manifested
Spend an evening with friends and family watching the The Secret. Join a discussion group to study these concepts. Understanding the Law of Attraction will open up a new consciousness for understanding that everything in your life you have attracted and everything coming into your life you will also attract.
There are opportunities to attract abundance, prosperity, and even world peace. It is but for the asking.
